My hormones did an about face and I found myself having increased hotflashes in the middle of the night and terrible night sweats and I was having 2-4 week menstruations. This continued until the end of January when they started to level out again but my cycles were still very erratic (barely 3 weeks apart) and the night sweats and irritability were still there as well as just generally feeling drained and gradually gaining weight in spite of exercising and watching what I was eating. My doctor wanted to start me on the pill to regulate my cycles but I was determined to not take any synthetic hormones.
