How Do I Take Effisoy?
Effisoy is taken daily, as one soft gel capsule. Effisoy can be taken at anytime during
the day, but for the best results, take one soft gel each morning.
How Long Will it Take for Me to Feel the Benefits of Effisoy?
Although each person is different, most studies and testimonials have
shown that it
takes several weeks of continuous daily treatment for women to
experience a decrease in the amount or severity of their hot flashes.
It is important not to get discouraged if you do not experience
significant benefits in the first few weeks. Many women have
experienced positive benefits between the 2nd and 3rd week and the 4th
and 5th week.
Does Effisoy Contain Soy Beans?
Effisoy contains AglyMax, a proprietary ingredient made from fermented soy germ extract.
How Does Effisoy Work to Relieve Hot Flashes?
Effisoy
contains AglyMax, a unique ingredient made from fermented soy germ
extract. This concentrated ingredient supplies isoflavones and other
nutrient rich compounds which have been shown to relieve hot flashes
and other symptoms associated with menopause.
Should I Use Effisoy While I am in Peri-Menopause?
Although
Effisoy can be used during peri-menopause, research has focused on its
use during menopause. During peri-menopause, women may still be
experiencing some of their menstrual cycles which may add some
variability to the benefits achieved.
Does Effisoy Contain Any Ingredients that Cause Allergies?
Effisoy does not contain any wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, salt or
preservatives, but does contain fermented soy bean germ extract.
Because the soy germ is fermented, the process breaks down the soy
protein, which is the main contributor of allergic reactions.
Furthermore, any soy proteins left are then removed during the 2nd
phase of processing, the extraction. Therefore, Effisoy should not
cause any allergic reactions. However, if you have concerns with soy
containing products, contact your physician.
How Long Has Effisoy Been on the Market?
Currently selling in Japan under a different name for several years, Effisoy is new to the United States.
What is AglyMax?
AglyMax is the main ingredient found in
Effisoy. It is made from soy germ and contains standardized levels of
isoflavone aglycones and other beneficial compounds.
What are Aglycones?
Aglycones are the readily absorbable form
of the isoflavone. Most isoflavones are too big to be absorbed by the
body because they are attached to a sugar molecule in the soy bean
itself. This form is known as a glycoside. Through a process known as
Koji fermentation, the sugar molecule is removed from the isoflavone
and what is left is the aglycone, or the active form of the isoflavone.
Does Effisoy Contain Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) Soy beans?
Effisoy contains germ extract from non-GMO containing soy beans.
Is Effisoy Manufactured in the United States?
AglyMax, the
main ingredient found in Effisoy, is made using a patented process in
Japan. Once this proprietary ingredient is produced, it is transported
to the United States where it is made into soft gel capsules at an FDA
registered facility using pharmaceutical standards and specifications.
